Easy and Slow……. Greece……Botanical Art Holiday, September 12 – 18, 2021

Would you like to take a break, to slow down, feast your senses, enhance your painting skills and master new ones, to rest and nourish your body, your mind and your soul? Join me on a beautiful Greek island in September 2021 for a botanical art holiday.

Perched in the heart of a Greek mountain village above the bay of Karystos on the island of Evia, Villa Kasteli, a traditional mountain villa with its panoramic sea and mountain views, is the ideal location for a relaxing botanical art holiday. Just two hours by car and boat from Athens airport, ‘getting away from it all’ couldn’t be easier.

Villa Kasteli

A family run boutique retreat centre for artists, yoga enthusiasts and garden lovers, Villa Kasteli has everything you might need for a relaxing and inspiring botanical art holiday. Run by the Lorenz family, at Villa Kasteli every effort will be made to ensure that you eat well, sleep well, rest, paint and explore.

  1. Hi Mary, I’m very happy to be on your mailing list. Ahhh, Greece would be lovely but this year is not a year I can plan anything because of a family illness but I will pass it on to our Botanical Art Society members. This is timely since we have a board meeting tomorrow and future instructors is on our agenda. We are hoping you’ll be able to come to Newfoundland sometime to work with our group. Let’s talk about that sometime soon. Jess Shepherd is coming in June of this year but we are all about education.

Have a wonderful time in Greece. All the best from Newfoundland. Margaret

    1. Margaret, I hope all will be well, family is always first. Thanks for your warm encouragement! I would love to come to your beautiful country sometime and of course it would be really nice to meet your fellow artists. Since meeting you and Marie, Newfoundland has been in my minds eye!
      Lovely to hear from you,
      Warm wishes from Ireland,

  2. Happy New Year Mary . . . Oooooooh does this sound divine ! I would so love to do this and know you’ve been going here for ages.

How many people do you take (maybe it says?) as I wonder how long I dare wait to make a decision. My hesitation is that I must plan something with my poor husband to balance all the trips I would like do to paint (tee hee).

What a year you have had and wishing you much continued success this year too! Lots of love xx

  3. Thank you for your lovely message. I’m happy to say that booking has been brisk – we still have a few places. It’s a stunning place and a super opportunity to ‘get away from it all’ but with time to paint with no distractions and in good company too! I’ve sent you an email with some more information you might find useful.
Don’t hesitate to get back if I can help further.
    Warm wishes
    Maryx
